Being a Christian is not easy…I will be the first to admit it, but it can be simple.
It’s hard to live the life that God calls us to live. It’s hard to be the people that God calls us to be…so is it worth it?
If someone carried a picture of you in his wallet, and had a huge painting of you on his mantel over his fire place, if every time someone got within 5 feet of him he was always talking about you and how much he loved you and how he was willing to do anything for you. If he always inconveniences himself to make sure you are okay, he always tells you the truth in a loving way, always protects you, always keeps his word, never changes his mind about you, never stops loving you (even when you have a bad attitude), promises to never leave you, always wants to talk to you, and never gets tired of listening to your voice — is actually delighted, no thrilled, no excited to hear your voice, every single time…. would being in a relationship with him be worth it?
